How do I know my bracelet/anklet size?
Knowing the wrist size will help you buy a bracelet that will fit properly. In order to get your bracelet size, you’ll need either a flexible tape measure, strip of paper or string & a ruler.
Wrap the measuring tape around the part of the wrist where you plan to wear the bracelet (many people choose above the wrist bone, side closest to the elbow). Depending on how tight or loose you like to wear your bracelets, add 1/4 inch to 1 inch to the measurement you read from the tape measure. On average, people will add 1/2 inch for comfort.
If using a strip of paper or string to measure, wrap it snugly around the wrist, then mark where the strip of paper or string overlaps with a pen or marker. Then measure the paper or string against a ruler or tape measure. Again, add 1/4 inch to 1 inch to the measurement to allow for comfort.
When ordering a slip on bracelet or stretch bracelet, hold the hand out with your thumb tucked inside your palm. Tightly wrap the measuring tape, string or piece of paper around the widest part of your hand (Remember the bracelet has to fit over the widest part of your hand in order for it to fit). This is your bracelet measurement.
For Anklets, use the same procedure as measuring for a bracelet. Wrap the tape measure snugly around your ankle (above the ankle bone towards the knee), then measure it. Add 1/4 to 1 inch for comfort.
